Prior to embarking on the creation of my abstract digital paintings on canvas through the use of advanced software, I begin by providing a thorough explanation of the basic digital canvas. This foundational step is crucial as it sets the stage for the artistic process, allowing me to articulate the characteristics and functionalities of the digital medium. Understanding the digital canvas is essential for effectively manipulating the tools and features that will ultimately shape the artwork.

Once I have established a clear understanding of the digital canvas, I proceed to the selection of colors and brushes. This phase is integral to my creative process, as the choice of colors can significantly influence the mood and emotional resonance of the painting. I carefully consider the palette, ensuring that it aligns with the vision I have for the piece. Additionally, I select the appropriate brushes that will allow me to achieve the desired textures and effects, enhancing the overall depth and complexity of the artwork.

With the colors and brushes chosen, I move on to the application of paint onto the digital canvas. This is where the artistic vision begins to take form, as I translate my ideas into visual elements. The process involves a combination of intuition and technique, as I layer colors and manipulate the digital medium to create dynamic compositions. Each stroke contributes to the evolving piece, allowing for spontaneity and exploration within the structured environment of digital art. The culmination of these efforts results in a unique abstract painting that reflects my artistic expression.

Some of my teachers while I was a student at NationHouse include Baba Agyei Akoto, Mama Nkechi Taifa, Mama Afia Nson Bonsu and Baba Michael Anthony - Brown artist. Why Work with Women and Girls?

My Charter School Experiences

In 1992, I did not attend a charter school. I have had a wide range opportunities that took place at various schools. I have not provided any services for schools as a consultant for a while. Among them include when I served as a substitute teacher for Mundo Verde PCS in 2013, I can recall working with some of the students and staff and sharing my passion and extensive background in visual arts. Additionally, I can recall when I served as a substitute teacher for DC International School. I knew a little bit of Spanish, but as a professional visual artist, I really enjoyed sharing my love and extensive background in visual arts with the students and some of the staff members at DC International from 2016-2017.
