Aesthetic Tranquility, digital art created on canvas

Aesthetic Tranquility. Digital art created on canvas. August 10, 2024. Afrika Abney

Aesthetic Tranquility presents a mesmerizing digital artwork characterized by a harmonious palette of blue hues. This piece captures the viewer's attention through its serene and soothing color variations, which evoke a sense of peace and introspection. The careful selection of shades not only enhances the visual experience but also invites contemplation, making it a striking representation of tranquility in a digital format.

The intricate details within Aesthetic Tranquility reflect a deep dedication to both artistic quality and innovative expression. Each brushstroke is intentionally placed, contributing to the painting's overall visual harmony and inviting the observer to explore its layers. The textured surface of the canvas adds a three-dimensional quality, allowing the colors to interact dynamically and create an immersive experience that resonates emotionally with the audience. This artwork exemplifies a successful fusion of technical prowess and artistic vision, resulting in a compelling piece that speaks to the viewer's senses.

In my consulting practice, the core values that shape my approach—trust, commitment, creativity, determination, courage, and purpose—are beautifully encapsulated in the essence of Aesthetic Tranquility.

As a consultant, I adhere to a variety of foundational principles that guide my professional practice. Among these, trust stands out as a critical element, fostering strong relationships with my former clients and ensuring open communication. Commitment is equally essential, as it reflects my dedication to delivering high-quality results and maintaining a consistent level of service.Additionally, I prioritize creativity, which allows me to develop innovative solutions.

Determination plays a significant role in my approach, driving me to overcome obstacles and persist in the pursuit of excellence. This tenacity is complemented by courage, which empowers me to take calculated risks and advocate for bold strategies that can lead to transformative outcomes. Each of these principles contributes to a robust framework that not only enhances my effectiveness as a consultant but also instills confidence in my former clients regarding the direction of their projects.

Lastly, purpose serves as the overarching motivation behind my work, ensuring that every action I take aligns with the broader goals of my former clients and the impact I wish to create. Spectrum of Imagination

I would like to share insights regarding a selection of my artwork, which I developed using a painting application that was launched in November 1985. At that time, I was just nine years old and attending NationHouse, a private school with a focus on African-centered education. This early exposure to a creative environment played a significant role in shaping my artistic journey. It is important to note that my foray into the realm of digital art did not commence until several years after my initial experiences with traditional forms of creativity. The painting application, while groundbreaking for its time, was not the catalyst for my digital artistry; rather, it served as an early introduction to the possibilities of art in a digital format. My artistic development evolved gradually, influenced by various mediums and techniques over the years. Reflecting on my artistic evolution, I recognize that the foundation laid during my formative years at NationHouse has been instrumental in m...

Ms. Eloise Greenfield

I met Ms. Eloise Greenfield when I was a student.    " Children’s author Ms. Eloise Greenfield was born in Parmele, North Carolina, and raised in Washington, DC. She attended Miner Teachers’ College (now the University of the District of Columbia) and went on to work as a clerk in the US Patent Office. The monotony of the job drove her to experiment with making up rhymes, and eventually Greenfield began writing poetry in earnest. Her first published poem appeared in the Hartford Times in 1962. Since then, Greenfield has published more than 40 books for children, including works of poetry, biography, picture books, and chapter books. Her work is widely praised for its depiction of African American experience, particularly family life; Greenfield has said she began writing for children after looking in vain for books for her own children that reflected their life. ."   She recently passed.  https://www.poetryfoundation.org/poets/eloise-greenfiel...

FATHERLESS DAUGHTER SYNDROME

"Since childhood, fathers have a critical impact on their daughters’ lives as they are both their first guides to the outside world and their first reflections of themselves, symbol of recognition of their own value. A healthy and uninterrupted relationship between a father and a daughter greatly helps to create a positive self-image and therefore will have a positive influence on her aspirations and relationships. When this relationship is suddenly broken for some reason, the daughter’s cycle of identity development is also interrupted. Adolescence and preadolescence are critical times where young women build themselves: their body change, they make a transition from girls to young women, and in this transition, the father’s role is important. " - Source: https://medium.com/@andreabomo/why-we-should-all-care-about-the-fatherless-daughter-syndrome-5fe527e22cc5 At the age of 5, I inherited some of the traits from father absence and abandonment. At the age of 13...
