Peacock

“The female peacock, also known as a peahen, can also represent inner beauty and self-love.

Beauty: Peacocks' iridescent feathers can symbolize external beauty and capture attention. However, peacocks can also remind us that true beauty comes from within, and that nurturing our souls can enhance our outer appearance.

Self-love: Peacocks can represent the importance of self-love and acceptance.”

“Important qualities in the workplace include self-expression, optimism, individuality, personal reflection, being observant, and passionate. Self-expression can foster inclusivity and empowerment. Optimism involves expecting positive outcomes and growth. Individuality means bringing your whole self to work or fostering an individualist culture. Self-reflection aids personal and professional growth. Being observant helps notice details others may miss. Passion in the workplace involves finding meaning and approaching work with focus.”

Dynamic and passionate individual with a strong focus on self-expression and individuality. Possessing a keen observational ability that enhances personal reflection and drives an optimistic outlook. Committed to understanding and conveying unique perspectives, I thrive in environments that encourage creativity.

Afrika Abney “The significant societal transformations that have emerged in response to issues of racism and discrimination, particularly concerning the Black community. This awareness serves as a catalyst for discussions surrounding systemic inequalities and the historical context that has shaped the experiences of Black individuals in the nation’s capital. Professional Positivity

Professional Positivity. Digital art created on canvas. September 23, 2024. Afrika Abney “Humor that is intended to lighten the atmosphere during work can often miss the mark for me. Instead of providing a welcome distraction, such jokes can come across as disrespectful and inappropriate in a professional setting. I believe that humor should enhance the workplace experience, not detract from it or undermine the seriousness of my work. When jokes are presented in a way that seems to trivialize the work environment, they fail to resonate with me. I find that humor should foster camaraderie and positivity, but when it crosses the line into disrespect, it loses its appeal. It is essential to maintain a level of professionalism. Ultimately, I do not appreciate humor that is veiled as lightheartedness if it carries an undertone of disrespect.”
