Introspection and calm

“The choice of solid color palettes significantly influences the overall simplicity found in digital art. These selections serve not merely as examples but rather underscore the essential role that simplicity plays in the artistic process. By utilizing a limited range of colors, artists can create compositions that are visually striking yet uncomplicated, allowing the viewer to focus on the fundamental elements of the artwork.

Navy blue occupies a significant position in the spectrum of cool colors, which are recognized for their capacity to instill a sense of peace and tranquility. This deep, rich color reminiscent of twilight and deep waters fosters an atmosphere of introspection and calm.

Introspection involves examining one's thoughts, feelings, and motivations through deep self-reflection. It leads to better understanding personal and professional values, beliefs, and emotional responses, identifying behavior patterns and areas for growth, and developing a clearer sense of self. Embracing calm allows for deeper appreciation of the present moment.”

Nature's Prelude

Nature's Prelude. Digital art created on canvas. September 23, 2024. Afrika Abney  “Nature's Prelude embodies the serene condition of the sky that heralds the arrival of rain, symbolizing a product that honors the exquisite rhythms of the natural world. This tranquil moment in the atmosphere serves as a precursor to the impending rainfall, which is poised to rejuvenate the landscape. The calmness that envelops the sky acts as a gentle reminder of the continuous cycles inherent in weather patterns.”

Professional Positivity

Professional Positivity. Digital art created on canvas. September 23, 2024. Afrika Abney “Humor that is intended to lighten the atmosphere during work can often miss the mark for me. Instead of providing a welcome distraction, such jokes can come across as disrespectful and inappropriate in a professional setting. I believe that humor should enhance the workplace experience, not detract from it or undermine the seriousness of my work. When jokes are presented in a way that seems to trivialize the work environment, they fail to resonate with me. I find that humor should foster camaraderie and positivity, but when it crosses the line into disrespect, it loses its appeal. It is essential to maintain a level of professionalism. Ultimately, I do not appreciate humor that is veiled as lightheartedness if it carries an undertone of disrespect.”

It can also mean creating an environment that supports and rewards courageous behavior. Speaking up: Sharing concerns, offering criticism, or challenging the status quo Risk-taking: Trying new ideas, approaches, or responsibilities Standing up for what's right: Advocating for ethical behavior, reporting wrongdoing, or addressing misconduct.”
