Burgundy Accomplishments

Burgundy Accomplishments. Digital art created on canvas. September 19, 2024. Afrika Abney

“The shades of red selected include crimson, burgundy and red. Frequently linked to essential qualities such as professionalism, courage, and passionate enthusiasm. As a potent emblem, red elicits intense emotions and communicates a sense of urgency and resolve. In numerous scenarios, it symbolizes the relentless pursuit of success and an unwavering dedication to achieving excellence.”

Burgundy Accomplishments showcase a distinctive shade of red that symbolizes success and achievement. Some of the notable accomplishments is the successful sale of artwork to Esther Productions, Inc. in both 2022 and 2023, which has played a crucial role in fostering a robust business partnership. This collaboration not only highlights the quality of the artwork but also emphasizes the trust and reliability established between the two entities over the years.

The establishment of a dedicated client base has been instrumental in driving repeat purchases and generating referrals, further solidifying the reputation of the brand. Through strategic marketing and networking initiatives, the visibility and engagement of the artwork have significantly improved, leading to its inclusion in promotional materials such as brochures and book covers. This increased exposure has not only attracted new clients but has also reinforced the loyalty of existing ones.

In addition to sales achievements, there has been a concerted effort to design, direct, and coordinate a variety of educational and arts programs tailored for both adults and children. These initiatives have been well-received, resulting in successful grant proposals that support ongoing projects. Furthermore, the management of numerous arts events and workshops has enriched the community's cultural landscape, providing valuable opportunities for artistic expression and learning.

However, I no longer provide educational services.

The intention and significance of my digital abstract paintings

“The intention and significance of my digital abstract paintings are not rooted in themes of sexual relationships. Instead, they serve as a medium for my self-expression, allowing me to convey the stories and emotions that inspire each piece. Through these artworks, I aim to communicate my personal and professional experiences and the narratives that shape my creative vision.”

Narrative Layers

Narrative Layers. Digital art created on canvas. October 2, 2024. Afrika Abney  I created Narrative Layers, a digital abstract painting, using layered brushstrokes and vibrant colors with the focal color - red. Red represents determination, courage, resilience, and creativity.  According to my research, “layered brushstrokes serve as a powerful representation of the different phases of artistic expression and emotional depth. Each stroke adds a unique texture and dimension, reflecting my evolving thoughts and feelings throughout the creative process. This technique not only enhances the visual appeal of the piece but also invites viewers to engage with the underlying story that unfolds within the layers.  Ultimately, the culmination of these layered brushstrokes results in a finished piece that resonates with a profound narrative.”

Successful Journeys

Quote found on the Internet “Success, says Maya Angelou, is liking what you do, and liking how you do it. Success for you will not be the same as success for me. Success is always uniquely personal. And it has to be. We are all completely unique individuals with unique talents, abilities, interests, circumstances, relationships, and opportunities.” My professional pursuits encompass a diverse array of creative and consultative endeavors, including art, dance, and poetry. These activities not only serve as my passions but also define my career path, allowing me to express my creativity and engage with various communities. Through these mediums, I strive to inspire and connect with others, fostering a deeper appreciation for the arts while also utilizing my skills in consulting to provide valuable insights and guidance. In addition to my artistic and professional interests, I am deeply committed to advocating for environmental justice and combating racism and discrimination. These social...
