During my teenage years from 1989 to 1996, I was immersed in a variety of experiences that shaped my formative years in Washington, DC. As a student, I engaged actively in the local arts scene, which provided me with numerous opportunities to express my creativity and connect with the community. One of the highlights of this period was my participation in the Congressional Art Competition, where I showcased my artistic talents and gained recognition for my work. This experience not only honed my skills but also deepened my appreciation for the arts and its role in society.
In addition to my involvement in competitions, I had the privilege of exhibiting my artwork at prestigious venues such as the Corcoran Gallery of Art. My piece titled "Evolution of Historical Symbolisms" was displayed in the Hemicycle in 1997, marking a significant milestone in my artistic journey. Furthermore, I participated in the "All Senior Summer Show" at the Corcoran School of Art, which took place between 1996 and 1997. These exhibitions allowed me to interact with fellow artists and art enthusiasts, fostering a sense of community and collaboration within the vibrant Washington, DC art scene.
Beyond my artistic endeavors, I also took on professional roles that enriched my experience in the field of consulting and arts. As an art curator at the New Harlem Gallery in New York City from 1992 to 1993, I was responsible for installing various exhibitions, which provided me with invaluable insights into the curatorial process. Additionally, I became a consultant in 1992. I graduated from high school in 1993 and completed my college education in 1997.
