Abstract collages on paper

During the time that I was providing services for the AACL event that took place on April 20, 2024, I also created numerous abstract collages on paper. Some of them, I have thrown away. The services for the events held in 2024 were done completely online.

"An abstract collage is a piece of art made from images and pictures that have been distorted so that their origins are no longer visible. The process of creating an abstract collage can involve techniques such as tearing up images, pasting images on top of each other, or applying colored surfaces with straight or ripped edges.The word "collage" comes from the French verb coller, which means "to glue". It can refer to both the process of cutting and pasting materials onto a flat surface, as well as the final product. Collages can also include other media, such as painting and drawing, and can even have three-dimensional elements.

Some principles of collage that can lead to creative effects include contrast, repetition, and layering. Cubist artists, for example, were able to use collage to experiment with texture, space, and dimension in new ways by incorporating real-life materials like fabric, wallpaper, and newspaper clippings into their work."

I perceive political involvement as fundamentally linked to the ideals of integrity and a dedication to the welfare of the community. Promoting cultural expression through literature and the arts

I am actively involved in offering my services, brand, and creating digital artwork. On August 27,2024 and August 29, 2024, I personally distributed flyers to promote an upcoming event organized by Esther Productions Inc., The Institute for African American Writing, and The Black Student Fund. This event is set to occur on September 14, 2024, at the Tenley Library, and it promises to be an enriching experience for all attendees. Djimo Kouyate

Djimo Kouyate was from the Malinké tribe, a sub-group of the Mandingo people. Born in Tambacounda, Senegal, he was from a distinguished family of griots who trace their ancestry back to the thirteenth century. A master kora player and a fine singer and dancer, Djimo also played a variety of other instruments including balafon (wooden xylophone), drums, and other string instruments. He worked with the Senegalese National Ballet as a singer and dancer since 1960, and was a founding member of the National Instrumental Ensemble of Senegal."

I attended a DC Public School from 1991 - 1993 and graduated from the school when I was 16 which was in 1993. I attended Bell from 1991-1993. I graduated in 1993 and was 16 at that time. Years later, I donated the painting shown in the above photo. Additionally, I gave away the clothing articles and jewelry shown in the photo above.
