I used the above quote because there seems to be a war on drugs, violence and hatred spreading rapidly throughout the world. Although, I do not believe in what Malcolm X stood for. I support this quote because I am Black.

I am Black. I am intense, profound and caring human being who takes pride in my daily contributions, thoughts and actions throughout my life. I was born black in America. During the time that I was born, I saw nothing but black people and in fact went to an all black school.
Being black who I am. I know what it feels to be discriminated against and excluded from different activities. Just because I do not share everything with my community, society and neighborhood do not assume that I am not fulfilling the legacy of my ancestors.
I am the rhythm of the water, the heart beats of the drum, and the colors of the universe because I see myself making a difference everyday.
