The event was titled  Women are Poetry In Motion. When I was a little girl, I wanted to pursue a career in the arts. I choose the arts as a vehicle and outlet for me to express myself through using the arts. If it was not for the love of the arts and I had the opportunity to teach visual arts, literary arts, and dance throughout my community in the past. Three other young ladies—Simaya Hammond, Dominique Barksdale and Rahel Belay-  Tseganeh—were given Honorable Mention designation. Cash awards totaling $2,200 were distributed . As a consultant, I would say that I have received numerous feedback on my effective strategies. Each strategy was uniquely different for each event that I provided and offered services.
