Year In Review

In 2021, I have implemented over 30 new strategies. As a consultant, I would say that I have received numerous feedback on my effective strategies. Each strategy was uniquely different for each event that I provided and offered services. During the pandemic which began on March 9, 2020, I provided and offered all of my services online. I had to ensure that each service that I provided was effective and successful. This was challenging for me because I was used to providing services for in person events hosted by Esther Productions, Inc.

I had to completely revamp all of my services online as a result of the restrictions and precautions revolved around the pandemic.

I provided services for the following events that were hosted by Esther Productions, Inc. Among them include 2nd Annual Discovering Me..Without You Essay Contest Winners Announced which took place on February 6, 2021; The Power of Poetry In You which took place on February 13, 2021; Women Are Poetry in Motion which took place on February 27, 2021; Kaleidoscope which took place on March 27, 2021; National Reconciliation Week which took place from June 6, 2021 - June 11, 2021; 3rd Annual Discovering Me..Without You Essay Contest which took place from September 1, 2021 - October 31, 2021; Winners Circle - Part One which took place on September 18, 2021; Winners Circle - Part Two which took place on October 16, 2021; and Winners Announced for the 3rd Annual Discovering Me..Without You Essay with keynote speaker, Ms. Yasmine Arrington which took place on December 11, 2021. All of the events which virtual events.

Therefore, I want to thank everyone who has offered some form of support and interest in my overall background and work as a consultant. And, thank you to everyone who supported, Esther Productions, Inc.

BrightBlend Techniques

Afrika Abney BrightBlend Techniques is a digital abstract painting composed of colors and various brush techniques.Some colors include orange, red, and blue. All three of the colors represent creativity. According to my research, “the use of various brush techniques creates a rich tapestry of texture within the artwork. The dynamic relationship between light and shadow, skillfully rendered through these different strokes, infuses the piece with vitality and a sense of motion. This deliberate layering invites viewers to delve deeper into the work, fostering a greater appreciation for the intricacies and purpose that lie behind each individual brushstroke.”

My Charter School Experiences

In 1992, I did not attend a charter school. I have had a wide range opportunities that took place at various schools. I have not provided any services for schools as a consultant for a while. Among them include when I served as a substitute teacher for Mundo Verde PCS in 2013, I can recall working with some of the students and staff and sharing my passion and extensive background in visual arts. Additionally, I can recall when I served as a substitute teacher for DC International School. I knew a little bit of Spanish, but as a professional visual artist, I really enjoyed sharing my love and extensive background in visual arts with the students and some of the staff members at DC International from 2016-2017. Also when I served as an art elective Summer Camp teacher for Higher Achievement in 2013, the program took place at Center City Capitol Hill Campus. Red represents determination, courage, resilience, and creativity. According to my research, “layered brushstrokes serve as a powerful representation of the different phases of artistic expression and emotional depth. Each stroke adds a unique texture and dimension, reflecting my evolving thoughts and feelings throughout the creative process. This technique not only enhances the visual appeal of the piece but also invites viewers to engage with the underlying story that unfolds within the layers. Ultimately, the culmination of these layered brushstrokes results in a finished piece that resonates with a profound narrative.”
